Tullis Fisher Black Trayer

Tullis F. Trayer, 87, Lower Paxton Township, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Spring Creek Nursing Home following a brief illness.
Born December 11, 1920 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Ellen (Morris) Black and was a 1938 graduate of John Harris High School.
She retired from AMP, Inc. after 37 years and attended the First Assembly of God, Harrisburg.
Tullis loved traveling, and organized many bus trips to New York City with her coworkers from AMP. She also enjoyed reading and music, and was well known for her tremendous sense of humor.
She was the widow of Robert W. Trayer, Sr. who passed away in 1974 after over 25 years of marriage, and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Agnes Black and Rose Armstrong and her brother, James Black.
Surviving are her son, Robert W. Trayer, Harrisburg, a brother, William T. Black, Williamsport, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008 at W. Orville Kimmel Funeral Home, Inc., 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg, with Pastor Terry L. Lamer officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens beside her beloved husband.
There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday.
