Agnes A. E. Black, 91, formerly of the Executive Apartments, Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2005 in the Colonial Park Care Center.
Born October 14, 1913 in Rutherford Heights, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Ellen (Morris) Black.
She retired from the Harrisburg Post Office and was a member of Pine Street Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg. She was also a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, the Blue Ridge Waves and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.
She is survived by her brother, William Black of Williamsport; sister, Tullis Trayer of Colonial Park; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, at the W. Orville Kimmel Funeral Home, Inc., 2001 Market Street,; Harrisburg. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m., Monday at the funeral home.
